R8 Luggage

Apart from the rediculously prices R8 Luggage from Audi, does anyone know of other R8 perfect fitting luggage.

I have located 2 bags which fit perfectly in the front (they are designed to) but what about rear parcel shelf items?

This is the manufacturer of the luggage that Audi UK use for their give ways in 2007, the shaped bag from the boot also fits the back shelf.

I asked them about the hard cases as that is something that would be preferable for me:

When we were originally approached by audi to make luggage for the r8, the plan was to make them hard cases, unfortunately audi couldn;t afford to pay for the hard versions so we went over to making soft luggage for them and the hard luggage went onto the back burner. We are expecting our first set in the next couple of weeks and I can send you photos then, we're also designing two hard bags to go behind the drivers seat as well. The cases differ from the version we're making for audi in that as well as being hard we're reduced the number of embossed logos so it fits the more minimalist image of the car

price wise the two hard cases for the boot are £650 or 950 with a soft bag for the rear parcel shelf, the all hard option of two hard boot cases and two hard rear cases will be 1100 plus local taxes

I have hard cases on the way from Germany - 2 for the front, one of them is slightly wedge shaped to fit the slope of the bonnet (hood)

hi guys

my luggage compartment is very warm. I stopped putting my laptop bag in the front compartment and now i placed it behind my seats.

does your bag warm up when you place in the front compartment?

maybe it is my climate...my day temp is 34 degree celsius.

I think I could fit more by just cramming my folded clothes inside. Sock and underwear in the compartments under my seats and the glove compartment. Shirts in the hood, jeans on the self behind the seat. Maybe bring a backpack for car to hotel room transportation.
