If you drive an orange car (which I think looks really cool by the way ) you must surely expect to draw a lot of attention, even my one in boring old Daytona Grey gets its fair share of comments etc

okay, let's not jump to conclusions before we hear BZ888's reaction to the post. Having said that, I agree with the general feeling of the posts. I am a car enthusiast; I love cars. I have had experience where other car owners have been rude when I have asked them about their cars. Whether it is elitism or just poor manners I cannot say. I have been fortunate to own many great cars and have always gladly discussed them with other enthusiasts, regardless of their status. The problem is that there are a lot of people who own great cars for the wrong reason. They are not enthusiasts, know nothing about their car or any other car, and only buy them as status symbols. These are the guys who act like asses because they cannot understand the true love that others have for great cars.

Taking pics of a car can cross the fine line into an invasion of privacy that isn't justified just because they happen to own a nice car. If bz888 didn't want Mr Snapper to continue to photograph him (and anybody he was with) with the car then that's his right imo.

That's pretty weak. This is hardly invasion of privacy. He's driving on a public road. People can take pictures if they want, and you must expect it to happen when you drive a car that is practically non-existant and exotic looking.

People are always taking pictures of mine. I don't mind, as long as they aren't getting in my way, and they never are. If they want to take a picture and ask me about it, I'm more than happy to answer. I wouldn't want someone to snub me, so I certainly wouldn't do it.

Cheers mate. I get at least 3-4 people per day taking photos or approaching me to ask questions. I don't mind, the car looks WILD in the flesh and I share their enthusiasm.

PS: It's funny how people make up stories to sound interesting!! Poor bugger. Mustn’t have many freinds.
