Man, just scraped the front end on the drivers side somehow.

I just had to slam on the breaks from about 40 to a dead stop to avoid hitting an animal, and when I checked the front to see if it got hit, I noticed the bottom of the front end on the drivers side had a scrape that looked like a burn from friction. The gray plastic piece as well as some paint were worn down.

I have no idea where this happened, as it wasn't there Sunday and I didn't drive it yesterday. I am careful pulling in and out of drives, and I would have thought I'd hear it scraping.

I scrape every time I come home, no matter what I try and it's a condo building so there isn't much I can do about it. The black plastic is sraping and a tiny part of paint as well. Sucks but it's not the end of the world.

I sometimes have a scraping sound with fast small bumps. Does anyone have this too? I can't find what it is. The bumps are to small to really scrape, but the sound it there.

wow u guys must have some realy bad roads where u live :P, Ive been through my share of speed bumps and pot holes but only scraped once and it was on a gravel road with lots of bumps on it

I believe that Michigan has the worst roads in the country. It's like driving through a bombed out battlefield.

8 speed bumps in the parkade down 5 levels to where I park. Every one scrapes the front or the center-under the car.....at 0-4mph. no choice to go diagonal as other parked cars are too close. (and I already bootlegged out the worst one 2 yrs ago after it chipped out my 550 spoiler).....already ordered spare front spats from my dealer.
