June 29th R8 Meeting, Cotswolds, Location TBA

Following on from a glorious sunny May meeting, we are now looking for victims to come to our June meeting in the Cotswolds, which may even include a 'drive' before finding a fabulous location for some BEER!

We are looking for more than the 6 R8's we had at our last meeting and for a special location (if anyone knows of one).

+ We are tentatively looking at July 7th for the 4 day run to the R8 factory, Nurburgring and hopefully a Spa trackday in Belgium on our return. Anyone interested, please let me know.

As for the July 7th run, I'm won't be back in the UK until around 1pm (probably later). Maybe we could look at the 8th as a starting day if tracks and tours are open..??

29th sounds good to me! I'll ping an email off to a mate who used to live in that neck of the woods, he'll have an idea of some decent roads & a good venue.

On the factory trip, I can't find anyone doing a Spa day before Monday 21st July, and that was £295!

As for the Nurburgring, it's open to the public on these days/times in early/mid July:

How about going to the factory before or after the weekend of 12 & 13 July. I guess it'll be busier at the weekend, but it's open longer hours.

Monday the 14th July looks quite good the Ring is open from 13.00 - 19.30 - what about setting off on the Sunday lunchtime, then doing the Audi Factory on the Tuesday PM? Back Weds?

Just had a set of new tyres - £1127.04.

Note to self don't go on track days and drift round the corners!
