At long last - the call I've been waiting for...

Had my R8 on order since January of 2007. I was promised the one and only allocation of an R8 to the overseas military sales program, and while I have had my doubts, I just received word from my sales rep that mine will be built week 29 (14 Jul)!

I have changed the color more times than I can remember, and currently on brilliant red. I have one last shot to lock in options. So far I am looking at alcantara seats & headliner, carbon fiber blades, 6 spd, B & O and navigation (and premium package).

Can't believe it's finally being built. Going to see if I can take delivery over there!!!
