weird ratteling noise?? :(

Ive been getting this realy weird rattling noise from inside the car, it only starts rattling from 2500-3000rpm then it stops, and it happens on every gear, the performance of the car is fine and it drives fine so Im guessing its a loose panel, has anyone experienced anything like it that might help me out, my next service is a long ways away and I want to try and fix it without any down time on the car.......the more downtime it has the less fun I have :P

I've got a rattle / vibration coming from the dashpod area. Its been there from day 1 but to be honest its only really noticeable when the mag ride is switched on and I'm driving on a really poorly surfaced road.

The best cure I find is to floor it and let the engine drown out the rattle

i have the same problem. doesn't sound like the dash for me. i thought it was some sort of fan at the back... no cure yet.

I have a noise that sounds like a grinding noise but is only apparent at low speed. It has been confirmed by the dealer and they will take it back next week to investigate.

Mainy / 800 - get your dealer to hook your car up to VAGCOM as I had an intermittent Air Con fan failure - maybe it's that?

my dealer hd done that (hoked my car up wh vagcom) when i hade airpump failue but nohing apart from the air pump.

yah mine sounds like its comming from the drivers side rear corner ( if that makes sense ) and it only comes from 2500-3000 rpm then it goes away, it sounds like a loose panel or something
