    V10 in production trim pics

Unfortunately not very good picture quality, but some design changes are now confirmed:

    1. Wider intakes
    2. Different grill
    3. Two instead of three fins
    4. Common tail pipe
    5. Two instead of three fins

Power will be – after all speculations – 525 PS

Additionally, some new options are confirmed as well:

    Carbon front Lip:

    Carbon side mirror:

    Titanium colored rims:

Pretty subdued changes then really - don't like the new front grille or the reduced number of fins, but the wider blade looks good on the concept cars so expect that will translate well to this too.

The power hike to 525 makes sense, will be interesting to see what effect the new engine has on the handling.

I really wonder what it will be called. R8 with a V10 badge on the side like the S8? or maybe R10? RS8? RS10?

It's an interesting one for sure - they don't normally use different model numbers (4/6/8 etc) just for a different engine and rs8 would prevent them using their normal naming convention if they ever wanted to do an rs version of the a8.

    I'd guess it'd be r8 something eg r8 v10/r8 sport/r8s - I believe they can't use "rs" as a suffix due to porsche.

    The grill is fugly IMHO

However I could see a pair of the CF mirrors becoming a very popular upgrade with the V8 owners out there

I also reallly like the new dual exit instead of quad exit pipes
    Its here Born 1/5/08

Eh, I don't really care what it is called. I have it debadged. I think the rear looks cleaner and more symetrical with just the rings.
