How did he manage to swing it all the way to the right side? Looks like he lost the rear but has had a lot of momentum going straight. Guess it grabbed the road too much before getting off and pulled him right.
Atleast he only took a slow speed hit completely along the side. Spread the force out much more. Still, that's gonna cost him.

he was closing fast on the Viper in the chicane an I am guessing he either lifter or touched the brakes as he crested the right hander. Sometimes it is just a small mistake like that which cuts the fun short
Wow he made that look easy ?
i had a few scary ones today in the rain, the broad tyres were aquaplaning like fook!!!!!
I would agree with this, and that he had the traction control turned off, as well as over-correcting with the steering. Stiffer springs would also have helped with keeping the car's weight more firmly planted with the road after cresting the small hill.I am guessing he either lifted or touched the brakes as he crested the right hander.

A great example of over enthusiastic track driving with a performance car.
Looks like the red mist descended and he just had to try and pass the car in front![]()
Its hereBorn 1/5/08
Ouch. Can't help but see myself in his place.

They've posted a longer version which shows the actual damage to the car:

Seems to absorb the impact pretty well. Not to much apparent damage on the body, but I wonder about the internals.
