    Car history

Not seen this done before and I always find it interesting to hear about the cars that led up to what you have now. Ill get the ball rolling...

17, just passed and I got a 1.4 Corsa(old shape) which I chaved up with huge sounds, wheels etc

18 I got my first new car, a Civic Type-R and I would still say this is the most fun I have ever had in a car. All cars should have a V-Tech! Although 200hp through front wheels in the rain...not so good!

For my 21st I bought myself a new Z4 M Convertible which I still have. Great car and I have embarassed many many people in 'exotica' who think they can drive!

And now Im on the long wait for the V10 R8!!

    Re: Car history

First car at 17 was an Acura RSX-S. Learned to drive a stick on it, got it in 02 with 4500 miles on it. Still have it today with about 45K on it. It's the beater. Pretty much the exact same car as your Civic.

Second car was the R8. I'm 22 now, got it around the end of April. 3500 miles on it now.

Third car will be the R8 V10.

this last Christmas/Birthday got a 2005 G35 coupe and I'm loving it hopefully it will take me through college and into an R8 hopefully

    Re: Car history

a whole heap of cheapies early on including golf, polo, micra, cherry, bluebird, mg maestro, audi 100, shoguns then started making a bit of money so could entertain halfway decent cars:

    merc slk 230
bmw 540 (e39) - great car, very underrated
merc clk 430 convertible (wife chose it but drove it for about 2 weeks before deciding it wasn't for her and I ended up with it - was that godawful metalic purple colour too)
    bmw x5 4.4
    bmw m3 (e46) smg
    bmw m6 (e63)

    still have:
audi a4 3.0 tdi quattro saloon
    r8
and an old freelander for lugging and snow
    Tired of trolls and fantasists
    ---
    R8 V10 r-tronic: ice silver / carbon blades / grey alcantara (2011)
    Q5 3.0 tdi s-tronic
    Previous: R8 V8 r-tronic: mugello blue (2008) / Bmw M6 (SMG III) / Bmw e46 M3 (SMG II) / A5 3.0tdi

    Re: Car history

Well I will also exclude the early clunkers except for a renault alliance convertible which I had in law school and which had a faulty clutch. I had no money to repair it so I had to shift without the clutch by matching rpms and at lights I would have to turn it off and start in first gear - a launch start!

    Others included:

    1997 Audi A4 Quattro
    1999 BMW M3
    2000 911 Targa
    2001 BMW M5
    2003 BMW x5 4.6
    2006 BMW 530ixT
    2007 BMW M5
    2009 R8 on order expected August 2008

    Re: Car history

86 camry; learnt stick on it, had a ton of fun, beat the hell out of it. Perfect highschool car.

Then no car for about 2 years as I waited out for the 350z.

04 350z. Hoping this car will carry me for the long haul through the rest of university and beyond as I don't plan on buying anything else until I pick up a used V8 coupe down road. I'm determined to wait this one out the same way I did with the 350z....except possibly 2-3times longer .
