Oil add, help please!

Hi all,

My car just asked for 1L of oil, and it have only 9500km, I know when the engines have few miles, they use a bit more oil, but I want to ask to you guys if you already add any oil to it??

What oil does it use?

I still have the german owners manual at home, still waiting for the correct ones to arrive...

if you haven't changed the oil to mobil 1 or other then you just check for the VW / AUDI spec's 507.00 This is what you have in your engine

sorry, I take it then that this is not the first top-up of oil since most people's cars are needing their first litre after about 1500kms

Don't take me wrong, my english is not so good!

I bought the car used in Germany from Audi dealer, I don't know if it had any top-up of oil till now! At least its not registed at audi european service database till today, thats what I remember seeing at dealer computer, but I will check again to be sure.

But can't a semi new engine ask for oil more than once till it get some 10-20K miles?? is that meaning problems!!?

I had another Audi and it ask me for oil time to time (between services of 30k), and when new (till 20K) it asked for oil 2 times! So, I don't know!
I will check, but the car is running great

Given the owner likely topped up the oil it won't show on any dealer database.

I bougth the car from Audi but it was a Audi leasing car, and I meet the owner, and he his a car lover like me, and the car was drived only in long trips across germany,but only times to times, thats why it have almost 10k in less than 6 months.
The guy construct the Audi showrooms in the north of Germany, so he have good relation with audi dealers, I think he wont fill it up by it self!
(by the way, he sold the R8 to get the R8... spyder he have the name in the top of the waiting list)

At this moment the car have 9800km and not even 1000km done is my hands and all in city drive!
