V10 Slot

How many people on here are looking to get the V10 R8. For those of you that have already put in your order what are your built and delivery dates?

Once again. There is no V10 slot. The car isn't for sale and can't be ordered. No one has a delivery date because no one is getting one... yet.

WED is correct. The car has not even been officialy launched !!!

(Possbly Paris motor show this autumn ?)

There is already another thread explaining Audi's position in the UK and other markets. To cut it short, Audi UK keeps a list of "expressions of interest". This will form the basis of a chronological list when production is officially announced. This is what happened with R8 V8.

Nobody can offer you a build slot or delivery date. If they do, they are lying.
Simple as that.

I consider you a reputable source of info, as you've been around here a while.

So what are the options, specs, and price?

I didn't receive a price but they told me it will be about 25% more expensive then the V8.
I have ordered not the new rims which are a kind of Y design, i went for the old style V8 rims but polished and with the 305 in the rear.
Led Head lights
Carbon Sideblades , Engine cover, Dash bord.
Sport Seats like in my R8 V8
Magnetic ride.
There will be a new blue, exclusively for the R8 V10 but as i had no sample i went this time for the classic silver.
Rear camera,
Light package and mirror package
Ceramic Brakes and so on.
Audi made this effort because the have fu**up my second order of the R8 V8 ( which should have been delivered in March / April 2008 in the green of the Porsche GT3 RS ) anyway to cut a long story short the car has never arrived and as buy minimum 3 Audis per Year ( this year up to now 3 ) see my last post ( finally all the 8's are in house )
I told them that from today on no more Audi. Well it took them 3 days until i got a call from Germany, I had a meeting with someone from Germany and had showed me a list ( color copy ) where i could order my R8 V10, I made my crosses and that's it.
The car will be delivered with all the press vehicles coming to switzerland in March 2009.

I have and R8-V10 on order here in the US... No production date yet though. BTW, I was in Lugano two weeks ago. My wife and I drove up there from Lake Como in an S5 that Audi loaned us. Lovely. Funny, we were in Europe for 2 weeks and didn't see one R8 (except for one on the showroom floor at the Audi dealership outside of Milan where we dropped off the S5).
