4GB SD card help

Having read the discussions over using 4GB SD cards in the MP3 slots, and the variability of results, I thought I'd take a chance. It was a fail - they were never seen by the system.

So, I've now worked out it's far more sensible to actually ask those with 4GB cards (that are 100%) for the brand name of cards they are using. I assume that gives me a higher chance of success! Thanks

are you aware of the limitations on the filename sizes in the root folder? I use 2 MB cards and run out of filename characters before I run out of card memory. I know I can solve this using sub-folders but I find the folder system unwieldy.

Nah - what limitations?

FAT (File Allocation table) has a limit to the no of entries in the root (Top level). You could try formating to FAT32...

None really I have mine formatted that way - but they are 2gb not 4
