Only the 2009 model (at least in US) has AUX jack. It is located in compartment behind the handbrake.

I'm in the US and my 08 does. IIRC, very early models didn't but later 08's did. I got mine in April 08 if that helps. It's located in the arm rest compartment near the phone thing (I think that's what it is.) The CD/SD thing will switch to the AUX source.

cars built from end Dec 07 had the aux jack as standard I think

i've got it in the comparment too. my car was delivered Apr this yr
No more R8...Jing jing sold after a year with only 7000km. A people mover as replacement.
