Someone has hit a golf ball onto the roof of my R8! The dent is quite deep and quite clearly a golf ball has done it I it was parked at the golf club, any suggestions on how this can be repaired and how much from Audi? New roof? Thanks guys.

Do you guys in the UK have access to The Dent Wizzard? Basically, they are experts at removing small parking lot dings which they have special tools for. They might be able to easilly "work" the dent out at very little cost to you.
BTW, they guy who nailed your car needs golf lessons.
Yes, we do have "Dentdoctor", "Dentmaster", "Chipsaway" etc.
But not sure how easy it is to access the roof panel, and if you have a strengthening bar under the dent, you are in trouble.
Another suggestion is to sue the golf club. They will have public liability insurance to cover such things.....................
I thought they pulled the dent out using either glue or drilling a tiny hole (slide hammer?) and then refinish it rather than needing to access the underside. But not sure how easy it is to access the roof panel, and if you have a strengthening bar under the dent, you are in trouble.

Depends on the system used. Some do, some put a "dolly" on the underside on the panel.
The pull out systems do not drill holes - bodywork warranty issues, corrosion etc.
Last month I took it to the course and one of use, I think it was me, cranked one out of bounds. I found it in an empty parking space
Today I parked as far away from the holes as possible.
