List of 2008 to 2009 updates / changes with pix

Since I might be one of the few who has had both, I will share some observations / differences I've noticed on the US spec R8 from 2008 / 2009.

Option changes:
- available polished wheels ($500) and also rear tires go from 295 to 305 width
- certain cf packages now avail (int, engine)

Updates:
- trim around the air vents on outer dash, and passenger door pull went from that silver grey paint to a flat black (not sure if that was as a result of the alcantara headliner option?) - actually I checked, they are both black, just didn't have the contrast with the lighter headliner I had on my 08
- rear trunk release moved from a manual pull that was below the headlight switches, to an electric switch behind the drivers left shoulder on the left wall of the car
- led lights on both the engine bay AND the reading lights now for 2009 (I think the 08 did have the LED engine bay at second glance)
- DIS goes from low resolution red to MUCH higher res WHITE for 2009
- engine/exhaust note seems a LITTLE less throatier/rough, but that might be the diff between a 44 mile car and a 2000 mile car?
- aux input added in center console for 2009 (late 2008s also have)
- not sure if the SD slots got an update to take SDHC or play WMA files, will check later today
- inside rear cabin window defogger

Yes, my 08 has the same engine lights.
