Hessitation from 1st to 2nd - Solution Required Mr AUDI!!

Hi Guys, I'm having the same problem, accelerate hard, shift from 1st to 2nd back on the the throttle and it hessitates before accelerating again!

It's happened with both ASR on and off (tonight). Not happy, if so many people are having this problem there needs to be an official solution. We need to take this to Audi HQ for answer. This is not acceptable!

Does anyone have any contacts in Audi HQ? Anyone???

Huh... I experinced this with R Tronic test car also and with one manual car as well. Just my own car(MY08 manual) do not have that problem(currently but, it is with latest engine software). OK, I do not have too many Km's but, I do not have that problem.

Audi R8 technicial in Germany told me that problem is with electronic throttle control so, there must be software upgrade(or solution). I will check out on Monday to see what can be done...

If you take the car to the dealer and they say there is nothing wrong with the car and you still have a problem, then you could write a polite letter to Jeremy Hicks and follow that route.

I don't have a R8, but the RS4 has almost the same engine ... I have seen this under hard acceleration you feel like you are being 'slightly' held back .. but this has not been enough to light the traction bulb.

Have you held the TC button down till it goes solid and then tested with the windows open ? .... maybe it is slipping ...
