r8 prices 3-4 years from now?

I have really fallen for the R8, it seems like it would make a great daily driver for such an exotic car. I have always been a car nut, and I guess waste too much money on a depreciating asset but I am frugal in most all other ways.

I am currently retired and have no longterm debt. If I do make a R8 purchase it would again be for cash, no deleveraging here. I however do not wish to spend that much money on a car, so I will be stuck in that slightly used lease return market three to four years down the road.

My question to the board is, what is everyone's guess what a 2008 R8 will sell for in 2011.

With 30-40K miles? I'd say 80K. Though there is no way to be certain.

About right I reckon , always assuming that depreciation will be similar to Porsche , Aston , Ferrari , Lambo etc

low volume built

usability

reliability

affordable motoring

high demand

especially if production has ceased by that time
