Truth in 24 - Audi's Le Mans movie premier + party

Hey All,

I had the pleasure of attending the premier of the forthcoming release titled "Truth in 24" which was produced by the NFL Films team and funded (at least largely) by Audi N.A.

It's a full length feature documenting the strategy, drama and team relationship at the 2008 Le Mans race. It's all about the battle against the quicker Peugeot Sport team and the technical challenges facing a team that is managing a 24 hour race.

I am certainly not an unbiased critic. I've had the opportunity to experience Le Mans first hand this year (my first) and i'm a huge fan of Audi Sport and the Le Mans series in North America. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed it and i'm guessing you (i'm assuming an enthusiast) will as well.

This film is a great document of the tension...but ultimately it's really one exellent Audi-branded showcase that continues to reinforce the cutting edge design being brought forth by Audi engineering. A brilliant marketing vehicle which i'm sure Audi will makes available (i'm guessing via DVD sometime soon)

My favorite part of the evening was watching the oogling crowds parade past the R10 race car which was placed right at the entrance to the world famous Chinese Theatre in Hollywood....that and all the free drinks and hanging with the R-rated - unbelievably comical Audi driver Emanuele Pirro afterwards
