Very cool. I forgot all about it. I was too busy packing for my trip the next day though. Whos R8 is that? Its not Desperados is it? I dont recall him having black wheels. Kinda like the wheels though, not too shabby.

Hi Rogun! No, its not mine. Been in Mammoth all week. Right now we're enjoying a very White Christmas from the house, as most of the ski area is closed due to the blizzard conditions!

My son tells me the police target this event looking for illegally modified cars, such as aftermarket exhaust. Is this true? I would consider attending this event as the R8 is stock, of course.

Your son might be thinking of the old Subaru meet that used to be on Wednesdays. It was loaded with a bunch of immature teens who liked to show off. The cops broke that up and we have no affiliation with it.

We have never been hassled by the police in a span of two years. Occasionally they will show up to see what is going on and if any illegal activity is taking place. They're always pretty nice. We have had plenty of illegally modified cars there with no problems. I hope you can make it out next month.
