When you have ordered your car did you get any updates.

I have been told it was built four weeks ago but can not get anyone at Audi to give me an update.

From the day I ordered it to now (12 months) I have only been contacted once.

I did see that someone on this forum had regular updates on how their car was progressing.

What have others found the back up to be like regarding updates ?

Fairly poor. I think your best bet is to contact the R8 team. I got a letter in April to advise delivery date of nov/dec/jan, then my dealer got e-mailed in early July saying that the car was at the docks waiting to come over to uk!!

I had expressed interest in doing the factory collection at Neckarsulm, so R8 team organised its repatriation etc. Either Mike Faiers or Rachel Bayliss were v helpful in UK.

That was me. Check with your sales person. He or she can log on to the "AccessAudi" site and get the attached information periodically.
