Does anyone else think the Audi luggage is massively over-priced - I found this while trawling around - I am going to buy a set and let you know what the quality is like.

Seems like a fair price. The custom luggage for Ferrari is much more pricy.

Yes, the Audi set is massively overpriced.

But, for UK 2007 R8 purchasors, Audi UK commissioned a set of leather cases to give away free of charge. With R8 and the four rings logo embossed into the leather.

I have such a set and it well made and much better looking than the set in the link above (which is not leather).

The lowest price 2 piece set in the Audi Exclusive catalog is $3270 US so if I'm doing the math right (£450 = $657 US), that is a good deal!

This seems like a very nice option. Maybe ,in light of economic times, the manufacturer would be interested in a volume purchase and extend a considerable discount for a group buy.

I actually contacted them today about this as well (not the volume, just a set shipped to the good ole US of A)
