I just did some laps at MSR Cresson, Tx.
This track is 1.7 mile, 40 feet wide and 11 turns with elevations.
It is a very hard track on the brakes, after 20 minutes,they started to fade.
The car turns and move on the track amazingly, the 8k RPM works very very well on this track.

I have been member of MSR since 2002, this is my second time with the R8, before that I had an M3 and a Evo 8.
The most important to work on the car is the brakes and the harness, I moved all over the place when I raced that day.

Wow... that a track although I prefer a mix of corners and some straights to enjoy some speed-up.
I noticed you did most of it shifting from 3rd to 4th and back... correct?

I once drove that Texas MotorSports Park in my NSX, we had a national NSXPO event in FW. One day at TMSR, and 2 days at the big Texas Super Speedway. TMSR was short and curvey and fun since there is literally nothing to run into. They emphisized it was a good place to "test the limits". Of course then we had to go to downtown FW and see the cattle run down mainstreet and eat far too much barbeque...

Thanks!!, This track is very fun.
This was the 1.7 mile , they also have a 1.3 mile (with very nice elevations) and you can run both connected 3.1 mile (very demanding)
This track is one of the main reason why I'm in Dallas.
Now is going to be the time to slowly mod the car (is so expensive!!)
