    Cool Audi TT TFSI

    Check my video's out,

And I mean no disrespecting to any An R8 owner; it's only building another Audi with potential to get it run a little bit faster by upgrading.

How you could compare a TT to an R8 is insulting in itself

The only thing these cars have in common is the Audi logo

From the getgo, the R8 is far from being in supercar territory. There are plenty of cars that can outperform it that is half its cost with a little bit of mod-money. Not a fan of suicide doors. Should really go on a lambo.

It seems a little disingenuous to me to state you have a (modified) TT that can beat a(factory) R8. How about spending the same amount to upgrade an R8 as you spent to upgrade the TT to make it a little more 'apples to apples' and then see how the race goes?

Comparing modified cars to stock higher-rung cars is a pointless exercise as they're not typically choices that people buying a car like the r8 would be making as the car is about more than performance bragging rights.

Comparing cars that compete against each other on the forecourt or comparing modified cars against modified cars makes sense, although that might not make you feel quite as good about your efforts - especially if you go knocking on the doors of japanese tuning sites.

Congrats on making your tt go fast though.

The straight line car mentality is interesting and I have been there. I had a modified supercharged trans am that easily would have taken the R8 in a quarter mile race that cost a fourth of the cost. Take that same car into a turn and you would wind up in the ditch. I couldn't drive it in the rain or snow and the dash squeaked like a pack of mice. The motor loped like a dragster and I ultimately sold it because it was undriveable in anything but the quarter mile.

The R8 is something else. A total package that does everything well and remains drivable every day in all conditions. Sure you can buy/build a car to beat it in one or more categories but very few cars can perform across the spectrum as well.

i dont have an R8 yet and I think its laughable to say this car is anywhere near the same league let alone an R8 killer. Where and how exactly does it kill the R8?

    In straight line performance? unlikely
On a timed lap of a circuit? very unlikely
    Exclusivity?? impossible, its a TT
Interior and exterior looks?? no chance

I dont even think your car would be quicker than the R8 in a straight line, not unless it was running 500 bhp+

You should have called the thread - TT Killer.... Because thats what you've done!!! LOL
