And the driver survived that crash?!! Unbelievable!
I'm not sure why exactly, but I think that Dubai probably has the World's largest auto junk yard of the most wonderful and exotic cars imaginable. Maybe the exotic car junk yards of Moskow can rival them, but I doubt it.
SEAT of the PANTS DYNO
It's alright, they pay millions for license plates. They can afford it.
shame tho.. that's barely even good for parts

Holy Moly. Guy must have accidentally switched off E.S.P. ( my guess) Or he was suicidal.
We do have a couple of member from UAE, so I'll try not to cause offence...........
I regularly visit UAE, and they are CRAZY drivers. I reapeat CRAZY. There is a 4 lane highway from Abu Dhabi to Dubai and the "locals" will drive up your exhaust pipe at 120 mph+. They overtake up the inside, up the outside, on the hard shoulder.........
The death toll was high enough for them to fit a large number of speed cameras along the highway in recent years, and publish adverts in the papers warning of the dangers of speeding.
The car pictured has a low licence plate number, probably someone of note, and speed enforcement does not apply to such people..............
Verdict: I suspect excessive speed and very poor driving. So yes "suicidal" and not ESP fault !!!
we can see the laws of physics apply to all...![]()
wait a second - the driver survived this crash?!!!

Dear Users
Actually my brother was an excelent driver both on track and off track. what happened on the 2nd of dec 2008 was a freak accident. It was the first seasons rain not to mention that some one pulled infront of him just a he accelerated from 0 out of a turning, he then turn a bit to avoid the car which caused the car to lose traction on the oily rainy road, thus causing the car to spin out of control hitting a curb flying into the air and slamming into a street light post, ripping the car into three parts not two. The drivers seat with the lower frame of the car was ejected out. He was one of the fastest autodrome track record holders if not the fastest. The reason most of us drive fast on the highways is because we can't stand being stuck behind someone who is used to driving slow on the far left lane in their countries and don't know that in the UAE the far left lane is mainly for over taking and faster cars. Most of the drivers in the UAE are from countries that cars are so expensive that they can't afford them, and when they come to our country they don't bother learning how to respect the others on the road and drive 80 in a 160 zone !!!! over time you don't bother waiting for them to move out of the way, you just push them out of the way, because they don't care about whose behind them, as if it were there fathers raod. I have lost my dearest cousin to some one whom decided to swerve from the far right lane driving 80 into my cousins lane which was 140.
God willing when i return home i will do my best to fix these problems.

Hskr,
The problem is the drivers from the Indian sub-continent and the Philippines, As you say, they sit in the left lane, when they should be in the middle or right hand lanes.
The ex-pat European or US drivers living in UAE are far more sensible.
Nonetheless, the Emirati's do drive too fast for the road conditions and do not allow enough DISTANCE between them and the car in front.
