Trade V8 for V10?

Does anyone have an idea of how much we SHOULD get for our V8 R8s as a trade-in for the V10? I know market conditions will prevail, but does anyone have a crystal ball on similar situations in the past? I have not traded cars very frequently in the past.

My crystal ball say $100K USD plus your V8. Maybe more if you first in line to get one.

just sell it in the private market. The dealer will have to make some money in it, so you would likely get 10%-15% under a private deal.

Thanks for the input. I agree that a private sale will generate more cash. I have asked for firm dates on delivery of the V10 to the US. I hope to hear something back next week.

36 months - 51%
48 months - 58%
Private party is by far the best way to sell an R8!
