I know first hand that a Gallardo V10 with an aftermarket exhaust DOES Exeed a symphonies wails !!! My buddy has thrown an unexpected rev. and gawkers would scrunch their shoulders and attempt to cover their ears at the same time trying to RUN away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely beutiful. Yet the car idles quite civilised. Even cruises at sane sound levels...But when Gallardo opens up... beware of your eardrums !!!!!!!! Oh yeah, My R 8 suonds more like an American muscle car with Milltek and filters...not at all like a screaming banshee. Personally I prefer BANSHEE !!
