Fog light for US R8

Does anyone know if the US R8's can be fitted with a rear fog light and what the cost would be to get this installed?

There are some internet vendors that have them. I talked to my R8 tech who had installed one. He said the physical install was fairly straight forward with a replacement of the light switch, some wire running and the actual mounting of the light in the rear punch out. It required some reprogramming of the computer that must be done at a dealer. I think he said it required 2 to 3 hours of work on his part and you can get the parts for about $225. I decided to hold off but it would be a neat option.

Thank you for the feedback. I think I will have it done in April. I am traveling for the next three weeks so the car is in storage...again.

A good portion of the right side of the car from the engine bay to the glove box area must be removed.

Who Knows, maybe the extra wire is in the wire loom already.Fog light -worth 75.00 incl .panel if u ask me. Labor to run that wire??
