About LinkBacksHi, has anyone else experienced a knocking sound when pulling away from a standstill? I am hoping it is brake disc rather than suspension - seems to be coming from front right side but difficult to be too sure...

If it's the same thing I was noticing, it's the automatic door lock!

i get that too, never stopped to wonder what it was, come to think of it, you re right r84me, probably the door locks! makes sense as only occurs when pulling away at the start of a journey! duh

Scared the crap out of me till I figured it out. Lock the doors before you take off and see if it goes away.

I have once or twice heard a knock under the right side of the car when leaving a parking lot. It only happened that day, and never again. No idea. I thought maybe I ran over something that hit the under body.
