Sorry I don't know how to post pics with my threads. To see what I'm talking about. Sorry for the inconvenience of clicking to gallery to see my hard work ! I think I have personalized my R 8 enough for now . It has been a rewarding experience.Now I'm dying for some comments-Good or bad. None of the changes are permanent and who knows...Maybe someday I will put her back to stock-except for the carbon fiber interior pieces--These are what light me up every time I climb into her ! Some say the R8 interior is one of the best?? I have to disagree. But I sure wish I had white stitching because it sets off Carbon fiber magnificently. The white stitching along side the C.F. pattern is amazing!!!!! Good luck to all ! Oh yeah...Any body have the hook up for the V 10 blades I am wanting? (Carbon fibre of course!)

How 'bout if the wing was lower and closer to the body ?

Well all of this stuff is subjective, but I am very anti-wing. I think it undermines the overall look and presence of the car, and edges the image closer to the Honda tuners who put the equivalent of park benches on the car. Each to their own though.

My feeling exactly. The wing that comes with the car stock does a very good job of making sure form doesn't have to follow function. It looks great when not in use, and when it does need to poke its head out, it still manages to look sleek.
