It is not often you get the chance to compliment companies for exceptional service, but I have to write and let you know The Audi R8 Team in Milton Keynes have proved to be very helpful sourcing some kit for my car.
Bev Holloway the lady I dealt with was most understanding and helpful to secure the items I wanted. As the owner of one of the very first R8's in the UK - and custodian of two others, (you never own it - just look after it until you give someone else the pleasure of being the custodian.) I find the return to the R8 from Porsche a pleasure. Apart from the comfort, attacking my favourite roads (private? - of course) where significant speeds can be achieved, my time for journeys is once again dropping. The Porsches couldn't live with the R8 especially in the wet. However getting out of shape at over 120 mph and keeping it sideways for a we while tested my pacemaker a bit!!
Glad to return to the forum hope to post some more pics and stories. like to read everyone experiences as well.
