R8 Required Vehicle Update (RVU CX)

Just picked up my 08 R8 from the dealer and had them perform the RVU CX update. I could not get the tech to show me everything they did but I dropped the car off on Tuesday and it was ready three days later at 2pm today (Friday). The tech did however list out what was performed:
Service Aerial Amplifier
Service Selector Mechanism
Check Propeller Shaft (no replacement necessary)
Software update with SVM
Servicing Upper Trim
Service Front Lid Hinge
Service Window Regulators
Rear bumper Cover remove and reinstall
back up camera adjust

Also when they performed the service they came across an oil leak from the oil Level sensor so they replaced that as well.

Car is driving better than ever (not that it drove poorly before )

Anyone else have the update performed? Any issues?

No update here. Anyone have update on that RTronic update that was rumoring around before? It sure could use it.

I live in Southern CT, USA and R8 is a six speed. But i am not sure that it makes a difference. The RVU is for all R8's

Does that include the 09's?

I believe so. The update just came out about 2-3 weeks ago (my car was the first one they did at the dealership). It is worth a call to your dealership to see, but I would imagine so.

Did it take 3 days? Did Audi provide a courtesy car while yours was in the shop?

I suspect a lot of the R8 Technicians in the US are performing some of these maintenance items (surgical procedures on your car) for the first time. Like anything else, it's probably better not to be first - or last - if you can manage it.
