Hello everybody

I just wanted to introduce myself. Purchase 09 R8 three days ago. Red with all carbon options. I'm very excited! Car was purchased used with only 600 miles on it. R8 is being shipped to me from Texas.

I wanted to thank everyone here for great info on the R8. It was a great help in making my decision and purchase.

Wanted mods.... exhaust and the beautiful carbon steering wheel I spotted on this forum. I think it was PPI?

Congrats, sounds like we have the same spec's on our cars. I think the carbon really accents the red nicely.

Hopefully it was loaded on the trailer Friday night or Saturday. Transport company said I should have it by Thursday.

No, sadly, I have no info on the car...just knew it was there...It was available when we were looking in Jan/Feb. Never did make it up that way to look at it.
Good luck on the sales of your cars. BMW X5 4.8 was great SUV...We had one a few years back. I think DH was sad he sold it!
