R8E / Nile, it will be a great day whichever one, no doubt. My 13yr old daughter wants to come down, but I am not sure whether there will be much for her to do except ogle! Any ideas on what to expect?

I understand that a racing car driver will be taking us out around the track, and that we will have the opportunity to drive it ourselves.

I don't yet know exactly how many V10's and what circuit layout.

However, based on the V8 customer launch day in 2007, you may well want to call Bev or Kirsty at the R8 team before bringing your daughter. It was not an event for spectators.

For that event there were 8 or so cars and all customers were paired with each other to take it around the course, on a slalom, a short "braking" circuit etc. We drove both manual & R-Tronic. Lunch was provided and a very good day was had by all.

I was round silverstone the last event with a pro driver in a RS4, very entertaining as he through the car into corners i thought impossible for a quattro.

The V10 will be an experience .

Your daughter could come down no problem, but she'll only get to look as you fly-by the pit lane 3/4 times .

Bonus maybe you get an extra goodie bag LoL

Kirsty at R8 team is promising loads of stuff to do for the family - off road buggying etc - so should be worth it. R8England, I'm on the 3rd Saturday session starting at 2.15 if you're around. PM me.
