Audi Sportscar Experience / R8 Two Day?

Anyone heard about discounts for the Audi Sportscar Experience?
I want to do the 2 day R8 class at Sears Point / Infineon, just didn't know if I should go direct, through the dealer or through the Audi Club?
Any advice?

I received a letter from Audi Sportscar experience. They offer a 20% discount to R8 owners. You coordinate it through the dealer from whom you purchased the car. When I get to work tomorrow I can supply the name and phone contact for the discount, if anyone is interested.

Hmmm...I have not got that letter yet and have signed up for a 2day in July. I am assuming Sean Creane at Audi Sportscar Experience is your contact? I am doing the "Level 2" course so not sure if this discount would apply.

Here is the content of an email I received from the GM at my dealer.

Good news, since you have ordered an R8, there is a program to offer you a 20% off discount on the R8 One-Day or Two-Day course for the Audi Driving Experience.

The information that they would need from you would be your name, address, phone #, email address, and credit card info. including its expiration date.

Here are some dates to consider:

R8 One-Day - November 15th or 22nd and December 13th
R8 Two-Day - November 24-25 and December 15-16

They promise to deliver an unforgettable experience for you!

When I called Sean he said to call the dealer GM and he will provide the discount with Sean.

Thanks for the info. If you havent done the course, its awesome. We did the 2-day course last July and will be doing their advanced 2 day course this coming July. Not cheap, but honestly, pretty fair deal for what you are getting.

They run a totally first class expereince, so well worth the trip.

If you have not taken the class I highly recommend it. I just finished the class and had a great time. Two days of really learning what the car can do. The instructors are great and the rest of the staff take care of everything else very well.
I enjoyed the class so much I bought an R8 on the way home. Guess I will not be getting an 2010 V10 (maybe I need to close this user name and make a new one).
