Hello from an aspiring R8 owner

Hi all: Wanted to introduce myself and let you know that i look forward to becoming a member of the community. Currently own a 997GT3 and have owned two 911s prior thereto. Great cars. A little hesitant to take the proverbial leap, yet i have just specified an 2010 R8 V10. White with all the carbon goodies. Would love any advice, comments, feedback, etc... Still wondering if i should change the exterior to Porsche's GT3 RS green. Still have some porsche in the blood i guess.

wow that sounds hot mate - never been a P fan so i would not advice on the Green int!!

2010 must now seem soooooooooooooo far away!!!

Hi Rahul,

i personally dont think loud colours like the porsche green really suit the R8, i have a white one with all the carbon (inc mirrors now

) and in my opinion really makes the car stand out and looks fantastic.

I think the green looks great. I was seriously considering doing mine in Nogaro until I saw how nice the R8 blues look, so you can see where I am coming from. I bet anything but browns and tans would look good on the outside of that car.
