Do you acnowledge other Audis?

I have resorted to saying Hi,flashing lights,Honking, at all other Audis I see.Most don't wave back,but a few do give the thumbs up.There still aren't many R 8's in my area...which is fine by me.

pretty much same here - I did wave - flash a few times to other Audi owners, and no response so now I only respond if they wave or flash..Other than the R8, all other audis in the lineup are no different than other cars on the road and owners would not even know that owners of Vettes or R8's acknowledge each other..

I don't. I actually have a hard time initiating acknowledgment. I don't want people thinking that I am saying "hey look at me". Not that I think anyone who does so, is making such a statement. On the other hand, I try to be very approachable if someone is trying to get my attention.

Last night, I was buying beer and three young guys came into the store and wanted to know if that was my R8. Then we went outside and one of them wanted to look inside, so I let him sit inside. He proceeded to tell me it was the best day of his life

Sounds a bit like the old WV Beetle owners before they all rusted out - bit sad if you ask me, in any case, there are so many Audi's on the road here I would have my hands permanently off the wheel! I very rarely see another R8 and if I do I just check-out how cool it looks

Sounds like the U.K. is a test bed for durability in a vehicle!!. Any sissy car could survive in sunny So. Cal. where it never rains!!!

I would if I saw another R8 (which never happened yet...) but there are way too many Audis here to acknowledge them all.
