First US model R8 V10 has arrived!!

I just wanted to provide an update for those of you in the US that have deposits down for the V10.
My service writer (Matt) called me this Saturday to let me know he just unwrapped the first US Spec R8 V10 in the country. This was great news for me, since I have had a deposit down since last February. I was on my way to the hospital to pick up my wife and new baby boy!! What a great day, I got to bring home a new baby and see what my next baby would look like!!
I am happy that I have such an understanding wife!! She just delivered a 10 lb 12 oz baby boy, 3 weeks ahead of schedule and still agreed to let me go out to see it!
This R8 happened to be for the President of Audi NA. Since the car was just unloaded, the transport mode program had not been cleared so it would not go over 4K rpm's. What a sweet sound!!
Having trouble psoting pics because they are too big. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Congrats on your new born boy!

The easiest way to reduce picture size would be in Microsoft picture manager if you use a PC. I switched to Mac recently so I don't know on Mac yet.

Congrats on the birth. I was lucky to get down a deposit for a late August delivery last week, hoping it wont be much later than that since would like to get some driving time in before it goes away for the winter. Put down the deposit when I was at the grand opening party of a new dealership, The President of Audi NA was there and I got to speak to him. Pretty interesting guy

I was of the same mind, but this is not a euro model sent over just for the president to drive. The RS6 Avant he is currently driving is a euro model and must go back. (Too bad. I would love to have that monster as a grocery getter....)This has the correct markings on the speedometer, whci I will show in my pictures, once I can upload them.
