After careful consideration, we decided to sell (and sold) our AM Vantage V8 to a relative overseas. It's rarely used and it's sitting in the garage constantly. It was purchased brand new (purely based on looks). Great looking car and very good on the road and superb interior.

I honestly think Germans have a special touch in creating cars.

The Vantage was nice but it doesn't have this invisible, magical "thing" present in the R8 or in the Cayenne (or any other top German cars). It's a whole other world I feel.

I was thinking of the R8 V10 but there is no point in having 2 R8s and the V8 is plentiful as of now.

Seems an odd post. Most people I talk to rave about the technical wonderment of the German cars but that they lack soul. Whereas they all talk about how "special" the Aston is, even though not such a good drive!

And the Cayenne - my god man...magical? It's without doubt the ugliest thing on the planet!!

What is odd is your reply.

1 - "Most people I talk to": talking about one thing and actually doing it are 2 different things ... Haven you driven the AM? The Cayenne? or for that matter the R8? or is your experience bases on "people's talk".

2 - "Ugliest thing on the planet": I guess it's a matter of taste, I find the Ferrari Enzo to be ugly and some find it superb. The point here is to point the driving experience. The Cayenne (talking about Turbo and Turbo S) drive better than my old M3.

3 - The AM was/is a great car. We sold it because it's not used much. You're from the UK, I can understand.

Enzo Ugly ??? To each his own.But if you were given an Enzo what color would you like. My buddy with the Lambo drive his Cayenne alot ,He loves it ,I am not impressed with it. And the AM reaks of STYLE. The most stylish car out there.
