    Trackday Newbie - tyre monitor

Hi I have tyre pressure monitors on my R8 and am going on a novice trackday soon. I have a spare set of rims and road tyres which I bought cheap on ebay. The tyres are alost new and should last me a few sessions before they need replacing. The spare rims do not have tyre pressure sensors on them. Three questions: 1) If I swap the rims for the track day will the dash show an error as it fails to read the sensors on the original wheels? 2) When I swap the rims back will any error clear or will I need to visit dealer to have the error cleared? 3) Would I be better advised to have pressure monitors fitted to the spare rims before the track day - if so do they need to be "linked" or paired with the car or does the car do this automatically? I am not at this stage proposing to make any other mods to the car - if the brakes fade it will be time to break for a coffee !
