Hard wiring a Pogo Alert speed camera detector

I assume this would be the same for any speed camera detector but i wondered how anyone else has fitted theirs and also how you fixed it inside the car. Is it a big job hard wiring with a lot of interior trim to be removed?

I think i will be windscreen mounting mine in the bottom right corner as i have extended leather and dont think it's a good idea to stick it to the dash.

    Thanks.

I'm pretty useless at doing anything but was able to hardwire an escort 9500i pretty easily. Even though my car has K40 stealth radar/lasar installed i wanted the extra protection of the 9500i with it's GPS and red light camera detection. I don't like things flopping on windshield so used the visor clip and put it there. Was very easy to tuck wire into trim without removing anythiing and whats great is the R8 has a fuse panel box under the passenger floor mat. I was pretty impressed with my job and don't see any wires

    Thanks for the reply RS4Cab.

I hadnt thought about mounting it on the visor, trouble with the Pogo Alert is its like a small cube so not sure how it would fit or look up there. Also didnt know about the fuse panel under the passenger floor mat... just need to figure out how to get from there to the right hand side of the dash now!

So far ,here in America, speed camaras are used in Arizona ALOT. BUT we are alerted with signs well in advance that a camara enforcement zone is ahead.Thank Gosh!! But if one is not paying attention...Expect a fine to arrive in your snail mail box! 500.00 dollars !! You get a free picture of you driving though.
