Audi Factory Delivery?

Anyone take advantage of the Audi factory delivery program? If so, how was it? Also, do they offer defined package European drive and stay packages, such as BMW? I find the Audi website a bit confusing re the package deal(s).
Thinking we might seek such a delivery on a new V-10 if we can get a viable build slot.

You get 2 weeks European insurance, plus a nice guide book of suggested routes and attractions en route to ports in Holland , Belgium & France.

Do you have to pay for it or is it in leiu of the delivery charges like Mercedes ?

Unfortunately you pay standard UK delivery charges PLUS £500. The £500 fee covers:-

-Chauffeur transfer from the airport.

-Factory and museum tour.

-Lunch and refreshments.

-Handover (at factory)

-Full PDI (at factory)

-Temporary fully comprehensive insurance and international registration

-European Breakdown assistance

-Limited edition R8 factory Collect Collection book

-Optional, subsidised Audi UK luggage set.

You can buy thetwo piece luggage set at £180 (as far as I can remember), instead of the usual £350 or £400.

The tank was supplied full, so that's £90 worth in any event. The lunch was in their restaurant and was first class.

Was it worth it ? For me, yes it was. When I got back to UK, my dealer then did another full PDI, topped up with oil and supplied the UK plates.

That's not good compared to the deal I had when I picked up my SL55, don't know if its still the same with the new Mercedes ?
