I think two options that will be fitted to R8's where peole can afford it will be the ceramic brakes and magnetic damping.

If finances are right when I get to order mine I think the following will appear on my options list:

Ceramic Brakes
Magnetic Damping
Flappy Paddle Gearbox (R tronic?) ... as long as I can select the gear that I want on the paddles!
19" wheels if they're not standard ... see previous post ref RS4 wheels
Top SatNav if not standard
B & O stereo if not standard ... which according to one article it won't be

Plus quite possibly various other options ... not having sight of the standard items and options, it's difficult to say just what will be the main options I'll be going for.

With the estimated price range being US$80k to US$110k (UK£43k to UK£59k) I think the realistic price range ... once optional extra/upgrades have been added ... will probably be US$100k to US$140k (UK£53 to UK£75k).

price will be around 75K UKP. 19s are std, get the screen but no satnav as std, B&O is not std. and Cermanis and meg arent std either.

Yeah, that seems likely ... my figures were loosely based on the forecast price in $ ... which I am taking means US$ ... and converted to UK£ at current exchange rates.

yeah with the exhange rate prob cheaper to buy from the US but i dont fancy driving on the wrong side, although good for seeing on the lovely ladies on the street
