Only other car I looked at was the 911 Turbo. Took one for test drive and did not find it comfortable and seemed cramped inside. Then I saw this comparison video and was sold on the R8. Sure the 911 had more off the line power but I liked the fact the R8 puts out better track times, Not that I track, But to me it means more fun in zipping around corners and feeling very safe in the car.
