Audi R8 Rental: 10K$ a week!!!

We're in the Mediteranean region for few weeks of vacation. We left Greece and landed in Beirut few days ago. Istanbul's next.

Approached car rental companies (in Beirut) for a SUV of some kind and noticed they have a "exotic car rental" category.

The R8 lists at 10,000$ US a week! HAHA! (9K$ if paid cash)

It was a R-Tronic, Daytona Grey with Silver blades; no CF.

ps: We're renting a Q7. Really nice. I miss the R8

Not with them but ready cash is common: go to bank and ask for your money.

In the U.S, 10,000.00 is a stack of 100.00 bills only 1/2 inch thick . I imagine your average sized suitcase could probably hold a half a million dollars in 100's. Wish I had a couple of suitcases right now --I would have a black Enzo sitting in my R8's parking spot !!

Yep, he says he is too old to be competitive, but he was pretty good anyway. One of those guys who's good at everything he puts his mind to. Hero!

Yes!!! That was truly amazing. Too bad they removed the FXX's time off the board.

Apparently the FXX was his; given to him by Ferrari (30th and last ever produced).

Half my friends now think The Stig is Schumacher! (stupid)
