A new revision (17 July) of the Order Guide for ALL Audis, incl. v8 & v10 R8

still no pricing!

main change is confirms no AMI for either car until August builds; also lighted doorsills deleted (?)

BTW: has anyone else noticed that the AudiUSA web site now has some partial 2010 changes in the R8 Specs section! Most sections have the heading 2009 R8 still, but the Specs section say 2010 R8 and opens with a "choose your engine" section, but only lists the v8 so far!

Also they've added a section on Audi Exclusive! Finally! Too late for me, but it's nice that it is no longer only in the province of rumor and internet posts for most prospective buyers!

PS: just noticed the "std" specs for the v8 lists the 90 liter fuel tank AND and "extra" 8 liter fuel tank (which would take the fuel capacity to ~ 25 gallons!) Is that new? Do any of you with '08 or '09 R8's our there have that much fuel capacity? At 6 lbs./gallon, that's quiet a hefty fuel load! Great for long distance cruising, but don't go to the track with a full tank!!!

US '09s have 24.8 gallon fuel tank.

My car list the "extra" also. I think thats considered the reserve

We are being told (in the US) that the AMI addition to the R8 is NOT available from start of 2010 production, but only beginning week 32 (first week of august). See post by George, the staffer, on "Fourtitude."

Several of us with 2010's earlier than that (my build week 28) were unable to order it, and, I expect, our cars probably also will not have the gen3 nav, although THAT has not been explicitly stated. We might luck out, have to wait and see!

Where do you see the "exclusives" section? I don't see it on that order guide.

It is now somewhat available to be seen on the AudiUSA site. They still mostly refer to 2009 R8s. Eventually they will update their site.

If you select the R8 overview and then features and specifaciations, there is the Audi Exclusive link. It shows special color samples for exterior and interior.

Right! Sorry if I misled. I was referring to the AudiUSA web site, R8 section when I said the the Specs are labelled "2010" with a choice of engine step, though at this time there's only 1 choice of engine. And below Specs, in the R8 description is a section for Exclusive options, which is very new and long overdue!
