don't know the particulars but when I took my car in to get tuned by Evoms and get the stasis put in, the dealer said there was a software update for the car.

I noticed today while driving that the setting to show ID3 tag information and not filename on the mp3 list (from SD card) was reset. I changed it back to ID3 and now all my track names show up. The difference here is that previously, the ID3 data would only be read when the track is played -- therefore in the list view you'd see filenames for tracks you haven't played yet and actual names for the ones you had.

I'd doubt this is something done by Evoms, so I guess it's related to the car software update.
