I have a 2009 V8 and I have this option and a lot more leather inside.
It was orderd under the exclusive order.
I have leather door sills, ceter tunnell ,door arm rest, door grab handles and around the radio area all with contrasting stitching and I think it looks great.

If someone can tell me how to post an image I will try to do it.

I think it's an "Exclusive" thing. Another eg. of how poorly Audi promots, or even "admits" the Exclusive program to its US customers
