Bluetooth Quality

I've connected my iphone via bluetooth connection and can hear very clearly incoming and outgoing calls.However I receive a lot of complaints about my voice being faint and tiny in the R8. Has anyone else experienced this inconvenience. Is their a software fix .Is their a microphone fix.

There have been others that have had problems with their mics (you can use the search option to find those posts). One person could be heard fine on the pasanger side, but not the drivers side. Aparently there are two mics in the headliner. They took it to their servicing dealer and it was fixed.

I'vetaken mine into the dealer several times for exactly your symptoms. I would take in again and just leave it till they fixed it, because it is so substandard, but I'm trading it in for the V10, and will advise dealer to get it fixed before they sell on. End of my responsibility.

Interesting I sat in the passenger seat RHD R8 and could be heard without a problem. In driver seat hopeless.

The dealer needs to move the microphone to the other side. It is located in the overhead console (where the reading lights are).

What if driver AND passenger wish to converse with a caller? I disabled my Bluetooth because some of my calls are PRIVATE AND SENSITIVE for passengers.

Then hopefuly you use another type of headset or ignore the phone while driving. It is against the law to hold the phone up to your ear while driving here in California. I know a lot of people still ignore the law, but you can get a $100+ ticket for being lazy. I do not agree with the law, but it is very easy to comply.
