    Question Bore and stroke?

Is the bore and stroke for the new V10 and the V8 the same ?? Is the compression ratio the same ? This way same parts ( pistons, con.rods, bearings, etc.) can be used in both engines? This question aimed at the new member who works at Audi.

    Re: Bore and stroke?

I have read that the engines have the same bore (3.33", 84.5mm), stroke (3.65", 92.8mm), compression ratio (12.5:1). If you use the Audi website and look at specifications, it is all listed there.
