Apologies if this is a repeat but how does the "old" nav differ from the "new" nav on the R8 V10?
How do I know if I have the new one other than with buttons?
Thanks

the obvious answer to your second question is: if it looks like that (link), it's "new"; salient characteristics are: higher res. screen, channel for input of real time traffic info from Sirius (on initial turn on says something like "no traffic info available"); reads up to 32 GB SD and SDHC card; has enhanced ability to handle iPod input (even without the AMI "dock" which is not avail. until August prod.).
possible clues MIGHT be the button that says "MEDIA" instead of "CD/DVD", but that button MIGHT be on some of the later old navs (SENATOR made that claim, no other verification)
if you have, or see a 2010, either v8 or v10 and can tell WHICH NAV it has, please post the last 8 digits of the VIN (serial #; see my post on VIN's, if your concerned re "privacy", substitute "x" for last digit) to help try and figure out where in sequence new nav starts appearing; those last digits will be AN000xxx (x=digit 0-9)
